DAY 3:
After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll begin our tour. In Tbilisi, which lies on both banks of the Kura River, our first stop is the cable car next to Metekhi Bridge, where we’ll see the Kartlis Deda statue, known as the “Georgian Mother.” This statue, a captivating blend of history and culture, symbolizes the strength and resilience of the Georgian people; with its massive scale and elegant details, it both bears the traces of the past and inspires the future. Next, we’ll walk to Narikala Fortress, which embodies Georgia’s resilience and grandeur—with every wall and every stone holding a story. After the fortress, we’ll visit the Friday Mosque and then set off to see the Abanotubani Waterfall. Located in the heart of Tbilisi, Georgia, and enveloped in a mystical atmosphere created by the steam rising from its hot springs, this destination offers visitors a unique experience of relaxation for both body and soul, allowing us to enjoy a pleasant time there. Later, we’ll also have the opportunity to visit the Sulfur Baths. We’ll then head to our next stop, the Metekhi Cathedral. A symbol of sanctity bearing the traces of centuries in every stone, this elegant church—more than just a religious structure or a cultural treasure—reflects the soul of Georgia and defies time at the intersection of history and modernity. After exploring the church, we’ll have some free time to take photos on the Metekhi Bridge. Then, we’ll begin a walking tour along one of the city’s most modern streets—named after the famous poet Shota Rustaveli—and give you some free time to explore on your own. After free time, we’ll wrap up our tour of Tbilisi and head back to our hotel. After resting, we’ll optionally attend the New Year’s Eve gala dinner from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. After dinner, at 11:00 PM, we’ll head out to the squares to enjoy free concerts and events, spending a pleasant evening. Overnight stay at our hotel.
DAY 4:
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head to Kutaisi, one of the world’s oldest continuously inhabited settlements, located on the Rioni River, and traditionally Georgia’s second-largest and third-most populous city after the capital, Tbilisi. In Kutaisi, we visit City Square and the Theater Building, and after a one-hour lunch break, we depart the city. We then head toward Batumi. We begin our tour of this Black Sea port city, the capital of Georgia’s autonomous republic of Adjara. Accompanied by our expert guide, we visit Batumi’s only surviving mosque, the Central Mosque, and then, in order: Piazza Square, Europe Square, the Medea Statue, the State Theater Building, the Poseidon Statue, Batumi Boulevard Park, the Alphabet Tower, and the “Ali and Nino” Statue—the masterpiece by Kurban Said that is frequently featured in TV series. Finally, we conclude our tour with free time at Batumi Boulevard Park. During this free time, you can take the cable car up to Sputnik Hill, stroll through the streets of Batumi, or enjoy a pleasant time at restaurants where you can sample the region’s local delicacies. At the end of the free time, we conclude our tour and proceed to the Sarp Border Crossing. After completing customs formalities, we enter our country.
We bid farewell to our valued guests, dropping you off at your original pickup points, and look forward to seeing you again on another tour.
